Executives admitted in their annual report that the top executives had been distracted from regulart duties by the unwelcomed bid by Microsoft to take over its holdings for a $44.6 billion bid. Yahoo! reports that advertisers, publishers and key employees may not want to wait out any future negotiations that would leave those parties without their partnership with Yahoo! if a future takeover is successful.
